  • Style: Long-form, narrative, or investigative. No listicles. No filler.
  • Structure is flexible: Think essay, confession, breakdown, exposé—whatever delivers the truth best.
  • Hook hard. Don’t waste the opening.

Tone & Voice

  • Cold. Surgical. Intellectually confident.
  • Assume the reader is smart, burned out, and hungry for signal.
  • You don’t need to be angry. You need to be right.
  • Profanity is allowed. (lol Like I even have to say this...)
  • You are the voice of marketers everywhere that cannot say the things you're about to.

Delivery & Format

  • Submit in Google Docs with comment permissions turned on
  • Title the doc: BID – [Your Name] – [Working Title]

  • I’ll give editorial feedback if needed, but minimal polish is the goal—raw and real trumps perfection
